Semi-truck dangles off Interstate 25 above Coal Avenue Southeast

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A collision early on Monday afternoon left a fuel truck dangling partway off of Interstate 25 southbound above Coal Avenue Southeast, according to ABQ RAW.

First responders were dispatched to the incident around 1:45 p.m. Crews initially shut down two lanes of Interstate 25 southbound and a part of Coal Avenue Southeast.

All of Interstate 25 at Central Avenue Southeast would eventually be closed as a tow truck removed the semi-truck from the scene. The fuel tanker was discovered to be empty.

Lanes were reopened around 5:10 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.

Collision blocks traffic on Interstate 25 near Valmonte Acres

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash closed all lanes on Interstate 25 southbound near Lomas Boulevard Northeast Monday afternoon, according to KKOB Traffic.

KKOB Traffic posted about the incident on X at 2:31 p.m.

Officials have not provided more details.

Accident reported on Interstate 25 near Luecking Park Complex

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to NMRoads, a crash was reported on Interstate 25 southbound near mile marker 228 Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred around 7:44 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
