Semi-truck accident on I-25 in Albuquerque injures 1, snarls traffic

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to a crash involving a semi-truck on Tuesday afternoon.

According to AFR’s Facebook post, the wreck happened on Interstate 25 south at Avenida Cesar Chavez at about 4:13 p.m.

A large truck pulling a trailer had been struck by another vehicle, resulting in the truck rolling off the interstate and separating from its overturned trailer, the rescue squad said. One occupant of the truck was treated and transported to a local hospital for evaluation. A second driver was also evaluated but did not require transport.

Traffic was snarled on I-25 and surrounding streets while crews were clearing the crash, which was investigated by New Mexico State Police and the Albuquerque Police Department.

Rollover crash shuts down off-ramp on Interstate 40 eastbound

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Drivers were alerted to a crash affecting traffic in a portion of Albuquerque on Thursday morning.

According to an advisory from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office at 6:17 a.m., deputies were called to the scene of a rollover accident on Interstate 40 eastbound at the exit for Atrisco Vista Boulevard.

The off-ramp of the interstate was closed while emergency crews were clearing the roadway. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes and expect delays through the area.

Wreck causes traffic delays along I-40 east of Gallup

GALLUP, NM – Traffic was disrupted along a stretch of Interstate 40 on Wednesday morning due to an accident, according to NMRoads.

A notification at 8:42 a.m. stated that the incident took place on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 42, 16 miles east of Gallup. The westbound right lane was closed during the accident response.

Officials urged motorists to drive with caution, reduce speed and obey all posted traffic signs.
