Semi overturns, closes I-25 offramp in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A semi-truck overturned Tuesday morning, forcing an Interstate 25 exit ramp to shut down in northeast Albuquerque, reports APD Traffic.

Albuquerque Police responded to the scene on the westbound lanes of Paseo Del Norte Boulevard from Pan American Freeway Northeast. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 9:57 a.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the accident but the closure was announced shortly before 10:30 a.m., about 30 minutes later.

Authorities did not say whether another vehicle was involved.


At this time, no details have been shared regarding the driver’s condition.
