Rollover wreck closes I-25 NB onramp near Albuquerque International Sunport

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to a rollover crash Monday evening on an Interstate 25 entrance ramp near Albuquerque International Sunport, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident impacted the northbound I-25 ramp from Rio Bravo Boulevard Southwest, in Albuquerque’s San Jose area. It was first reported by the BCSO at 5:25 p.m., some time after deputies had already arrived on the scene.

Officials did not immediately disclose what caused the vehicle to overturn, but all northbound travel lanes were closed. All traffic was forced to get by through the far left median.


The closure was expected to remain in place past 5:48 p.m. as tow crews arrived on the scene to remove at least two involved vehicles.
