Police respond to semi-truck rollover wreck in Buffalo Springs

BUFFALO SPRINGS, NM – Police and emergency crews were dispatched to a semi-truck accident in McKinley County on Wednesday night.

According to the Navajo Police Department, the rollover crash took place at about 9:11 p.m. on Highway 491 at mile marker 34 in Buffalo Springs.

There were no immediate reports of injuries and no road closures were put in place. But drivers were advised to expect traffic delays and use caution in the area. The scene was reported to be clear at 2:33 a.m. Thursday morning.

The Navajo Police Department Crownpoint District and Navajo EMS were at the crash scene.

Accident blocks lanes in both directions on New Mexico 329

LAS VEGAS, NM – The New Mexico Department of Transportation alerted drivers to a crash blocking traffic in the Las Vegas, N.M. area Thursday afternoon.

An advisory from NMRoads at 12:50 p.m. reported that the wreck happened on northbound Grand Avenue. Both the northbound and southbound lanes were closed at the intersection of New Mexico 329 and South Pacific.

A detour was in place at New Mexico Avenue while emergency responders worked to clear the roadway.

Roadway shut down in southwest Albuquerque due to crash

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle accident closed a roadway in southwest Albuquerque on Wednesday night.

The BCSO’s traffic alert, posted at 10:47 p.m., stated that the crash occurred in the area of Tower Boulevard SW and Coors Boulevard SW. Westbound Tower Boulevard was shut down until the wreck could be removed.

There were no reports of injuries.
