Police investigating fatal pedestrian collision in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police were called to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident in Albuquerque on Friday evening, according to KOB.

A pedestrian was killed in the area of Paseo Del Norte and Unser Boulevard, according to police. No details were released on the circumstances that led to the incident.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s fatal crash unit was dispatched to the location to conduct an investigation.

Eastbound Paseo Del Norte was shut down at Unser Boulevard during the crash response.

Accident closes New Mexico 518 in both directions

BUENA VISTA, NM – A traffic advisory was issued by the New Mexico Department of Transportation on Tuesday afternoon following a crash on New Mexico 518.

A post on NMRoads at 2:19 p.m. stated that the roadway was shut down in both directions at mile marker 21, one mile south of Buena Vista. There were no alternate routes available, and delays were expected.

Drivers were advised to use extreme caution, reduce speed, obey posted signs, and watch for emergency personnel and equipment.

Injuries reported in crash in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A vehicle crash disrupted traffic in a section of northeast Albuquerque on Monday night.

According to an alert on X from APD Traffic at 9:35 p.m., the accident took place in the vicinity of Eubank Boulevard and San Jacinto Avenue. Injuries were reported, but there was no immediate word on who had been hurt.

There were lane closures in the area while the wreck was being cleared and investigated.
