Police investigate fatal crash in northwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police in Albuquerque were called to the scene of a fatal crash last week, KOAT reported.

The incident happened on the night of Sept. 25 in the vicinity of Coors Boulevard and Montano Road NW at about 8 p.m. No details were immediately released on who had been killed, or what led to the accident.

The APD’s Fatal Crash Unit was conducting an investigation, and drivers were advised to avoid the area.

Injuries reported following collision at Coors Boulevard

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident in Albuquerque late Monday night.

According to a traffic alert by the BCSO at 10:37 p.m., injuries were reported in the crash that occurred in the area of Coors Boulevard and LaMonica Road.

One lane of northbound Coors Boulevard was shut down while deputies were investigating and clearing the scene.

Traffic delays on I-25 south at Jefferson Street due to accident

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash was reported to be snarling traffic along Interstate 25 in Albuquerque during Wednesday morning’s commute.

An advisory on NMRoads shortly before 7:30 a.m. stated the accident occurred on I-25 southbound at mile marker 229 in the area of Jefferson Street.

The left lane of the interstate was closed while emergency crews were responding, and drivers were advised to expect delays through the area.
