Pedestrian struck by driver near Fairgrounds Addition

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a driver hit and injured a pedestrian near Lomas Boulevard Northeast and Louisiana Boulevard Northeast on Thursday.

First responders transported the pedestrian to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Fatal Crash Unit of the Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incident.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

SANTO TOMAS, NM – A wreck disrupted traffic on New Mexico 478 at mile marker 17 on Friday, according to NMRoads.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 6:55 a.m.

Officials have not provided more information.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the crash around 7:06 a.m.
