ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A woman was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a busy northeast Albuquerque intersection last night.
According to KRQE, the victim was walking across Indian School Road near Eubank Boulevard at about 8 p.m. when she was hit by a white Dodge truck.
Investigator say the driver was unable to avoid the victim as she crossed outside of the designated intersection. She was rushed to UNMH for treatment of serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
No charges are pending against the driver at this time.
