Passenger dies after Polaris RZR crashes off Airport Rd in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, NM — A 20-year-old passenger died Sunday evening following a crash involving a Polaris RZR vehicle in southwest Santa Fe, reports KRQE.

The fatal accident occurred on a private property located at 4705 Airport Road (New Mexico State Road 284) and was first reported at around 7:26 p.m.

Very few details regarding the circumstances have been made available, but the Santa Fe Police Department said the side-by-side vehicle overturned, causing the passenger to suffer fatal injuries.

The operator of the vehicle survived the wreck and was transported to an area hospital for unspecified injuries.
