ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A section of Broadway Boulevard was closed in both directions late Thursday morning in south Albuquerque following a crash, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened on a stretch the road (New Mexico State Road 47) at Interstate 25. Deputies and paramedics responded to the scene some time before 11:50 a.m.
Officials did not immediately say what caused the collision but part of Broadway Boulevard was blocked for more than 15 minutes.
Motorists were urged to find alternate routes in the area as crews attended to the scene.

It was unclear whether anyone was hurt and/or had to be taken to a hospital.
Accident reduces I-25 NB to single lane near Spruce Park
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Officials were called to a collision early Thursday afternoon on Interstate 25 in Albuquerque’s Spruce Park area, according to NM Roads.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes approaching mile marker 225, near Lomas Boulevard Northeast and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Northeast. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 12:40 p.m.
As of this writing, the cause of the accident has not been disclosed, and it’s unclear what types of vehicles were involved.
No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
Albuquerque Police responds to crash on Central Ave near International District Library
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A collision was reported Wednesday afternoon in east Albuquerque’s International District, according to APD Traffic.
The accident unfolded on Central Avenue at San Pablo Street Northeast, in front of International District Library. Albuquerque Police were dispatched to the scene at around 2:20 p.m.
Following the event, the department has not shared any information regarding the circumstances, the types of vehicles involved, or any potential injuries.
