LAS CRUCES, NM — One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 10 near west Las Cruces, reports CBS4Local.
New Mexico State Police responded to the scene on the eastbound interstate, near the Recycled Roadrunner Sculpture, at about 4:38 p.m.
Officials did not disclose a possible cause of the crash, but an SUV had been pulling a camper trailer when it overturned.
The driver of the SUV was transported to an El Paso hospital, where their condition remains undisclosed.
No other occupants were mentioned and no other vehicles were involved.
Both eastbound lanes were blocked at 5:26 p.m. as State Police and Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated. Tow crews also arrived to clear the wreckage.
An investigation was in progress.
