News: Wreck in west Albuquerque causes traffic slowdowns

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Authorities are investigating the cause of a wreck that blocked several lanes of traffic today, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Authorities were dispatched to the crash site in the 1700 block of Atrisco Boulevard.  The accident was reported at about 7:51 a.m. Tuesday. It’s unclear whether anyone sustained injuries in the collision.

Atrisco Vista Boulevard was shut down in both directions as local crews worked to clear the site of the wreck. Officials advised the public to expect the lane closures to last at least one hour.
