News: Woman seriously injured after being hit by vehicle in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, NM – Police say a pedestrian accident in Santa Fe last week left a woman hospitalized, reports the Santa Fe New Mexican.

The woman was walking in the crosswalk at Camino Carlos Rey and Rodeo Road Wednesday when she was struck by a vehicle just before 10 a.m.

The victim was seriously injured and was transported to University of New Mexico Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating the incident, and so far no charges have been filed against the driver.
