ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that it was at the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash in the South Valley on Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Isleta Boulevard and Shadyside Drive north of Rio Bravo Boulevard after the accident that occurred sometime before 3:30 p.m. The BCSO said the female driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released.
Isleta Boulevard was shut down between Saunders Road and Barcelona Road after the wreck.
