ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries this evening after they were hit by a car, according to KRQE.
The vehicle was driving near Menaul Boulevard and San Mateo Boulevard when it struck the pedestrian.
The wreck happened at about 7 p.m. today.
The Albuquerque Police Department closed down the streets surrounding the crash site as they investigated the accident.
Emergency responders transported the person to an area hospital. They are reportedly in unstable condition.
