ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police responded to an accident that fatally injured one pedestrian near Quigley Park, according to KRQE.
A vehicle was driving near the intersection of Cagua Drive and Menaul Boulevard when it struck a nearby pedestrian.
The pedestrian was killed at the scene of the wreck, according to the Albuquerque Police Department. The driver fled the area after the collision.
Authorities responded to the accident at about 10 p.m. Monday.
The APD currently has no information about the suspected driver.
