News: Vehicle crash with injury shuts down stretch of Coors Boulevard

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that it was on the scene of a vehicle crash that disrupted traffic in Albuquerque Wednesday night.

The sheriff’s office said that the incident, reported shortly before 10 p.m., involved great bodily injury. It caused all lanes of Coors Boulevard to be shut down in both directions between Eduardo Road SW and Arenal Road. EMS crews headed to the scene to take the injured person to a hospital, but no further details have been released on the person’s condition.

A traffic alert was issued to drivers, who were advised to avoid the area.
