ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police shut down a road over the weekend after one person was fatally injured in a vehicle accident, according to KOB 4.
Two vehicles were traveling on Eastbound Frontage Road when the accident took place. The wreck occurred near I-25 Frontage Road
Medics transported one woman to a medical center for treatment. She was later pronounced dead by hospital staff. Her identity has not yet been released to the public.
Officials closed down the road surrounding the crash site for investigation. It’s unclear if the area has since been reopened.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown. The Albuquerque Police Department’s investigation is ongoing.
