News: Truck driver dead after accident in southeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A truck driver was killed when his vehicle was involved in a crash in southeast Albuquerque Friday night, KRQE reports.

Police said the truck crashed in the area of Juan Tabo Boulevard and Singing Arrow Avenue and caused damage to a nearby Albuquerque Ride bus stop. The driver, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved and no other injuries were reported.

Alcohol was believed to have been a contributing factor in the incident, police said.
