HATCH, NM – State police in New Mexico said several people were injured in a single-vehicle accident in the Hatch area Tuesday, reports KVIA.
Authorities said the crash happened on Interstate 25 in the vicinity of milepost 19 in Radium Springs. No details were immediately available on the conditions of those who were hurt.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation said the northbound lanes of I-25 were shut down from about 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. while the scene was being cleared. Traffic was being detoured onto New Mexico State Road 157.
