LOS LUNAS, NM – Traffic was slowed on Interstate 25 in Los Lunas on Tuesday after a semi-truck caught fire, KOAT reports.

The truck went up in flames on I-25 north at mile marker 203 just before the Los Lunas exit. There was no immediate information on whether anyone was injured.

All northbound lanes of I-25 were shut down for several hours in the area before reopening shortly before 7 p.m.

Heavy delays were reported as motorists were diverted off an exit in Belen due to the roadway closure.
