News: Rollover crash shuts down Interstate 10 east in Lordsburg area

LORDSBURG, NM – A vehicle was involved in a rollover crash that affected traffic in the Lordsburg area Tuesday afternoon, KVIA reports.

The incident occurred on Interstate 10 eastbound at milepost 42 at about 1:45 p.m.  There were no immediate details on any injuries resulting from the crash.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation said the accident happened in a construction zone where a lane of the highway had been closed for paving. I-10 east was shut down in the area for over two hours before reopening at about 3:30 p.m.
