ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police closed down several lanes of traffic after a car accident this evening, APD Traffic reports.

The Albuquerque Police Department reported the collision at about 6:40 p.m. today. The accident took place at the intersection of Coors Boulevard and Paseo Del Norte Boulevard.
Authorities closed down two lanes of Coors Boulevard heading south. It’s unknown if the road has since been reopened.
Details about the cause and circumstances of the crash have yet to be released. The APD is handling the investigation.
