ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police are searching for a driver from a hit-and-run accident that fatally injured a pedestrian, according to KRQE.
A pedestrian was walking along the middle of Menaul Boulevard when a pickup truck hit him. The wreck happened at about 9:51 p.m. last Monday.
Authorities responded to the accident in the eastbound lanes near San Pedro Drive. The pedestrian died at the site of the crash.
The Albuquerque Police Department reports that the truck briefly stopped, then departed the scene without waiting for authorities.
