ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident in Albuquerque on Wednesday night, KRQE reports.
The victim was struck by a vehicle in the area of Interstate 25 south between Tramway Boulevard and Alameda Avenue at about 10 p.m. Albuquerque police said the pedestrian, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Details on what led to the crash were not yet available.
I-25 south between Tramway and Alameda was reopened after the accident scene was cleared.
