ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A two-vehicle accident caused a pedestrian to sustain serious injuries on Monday night, ABQ Journal reports.
A Chevy Cruze was driving east on Comanche Road when it yielded to a man crossing an adjacent parking lot. A Gray Nissan Rogue rear-ended the Chevy, causing the vehicle to hit the pedestrian.
The Motor Unit with the Albuquerque Police Department responded to the wreck at the Wellesley Drive and Comanche Road northeast intersection.
The pedestrian was taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital for treatment of severe internal and head injuries.
