ALBUQUERQUE, NM – One person was hospitalized yesterday after they were struck by a vehicle, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

A car was driving north on Atrisco Drive when it struck the pedestrian at about 1:37 a.m. Sunday. The accident happened at the road’s intersection with Five Points Road.
Emergency responders took the victim to a local medical center. It’s unclear whether they are in stable condition.
Atrisco Drive was closed down in the northbound lanes as investigators and EMS were on the scene. Five Points Road was closed down in both directions. Information about the cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
