ALBUQUERQUE, NM –An accident involving several cars and a motorcycle left one person dead and injured several others yesterday, according to KRQE.
According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck took place at the intersection of Paseo del Norte and 2nd Street.
One person suffered fatal injuries in the wreck. Several others were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
Authorities shut down the westbound lanes of Paseo del Norte as the crash site was being investigated.
It’s unclear what circumstances led to the fatal accident. We will continue to monitor this story as the BSCO looks into the case.
