News: One killed in collision involving motorcycle in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES, NM – An 18-year-old died on Wednesday after a car crashed into his motorcycle, Las Cruces Sun News reports.

A motorcyclist was traveling on South Triviz Drive when he was struck by a car that was turning onto the road. Officers with the Las Cruces Police Department were called to the wreck at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the 2000 block.

The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. He was an 18-year-old known for his role in stopping a kidnapping in 2020.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
