ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A pedestrian was hospitalized for serious injuries last night after they were struck by an oncoming vehicle, KAT 7 reports.
A black Lexus was driving on Yale Boulevard towards its intersection with Ross Avenue when it struck a pedestrian crossing the street. The Lexus driver stayed at the accident site and called for the authorities. The pedestrian was then transported to an area hospital.
The pedestrian was severely hurt and is reportedly in critical condition, according to the Albuquerque Police Department. Investigators report that the accident may have been caused by an error on the pedestrian’s end.
