ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police said a motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a truck in Albuquerque Friday night, KRQE reports.

The incident took place in the area of Central Avenue and Wisconsin Street at about 7:30 p.m. Investigators said a Toyota truck heading east on Central Avenue made a left turn into the westbound lane and crashed into two motorcycles. The impact forced both bikes into another vehicle, and one of the motorcyclists was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people were hospitalized.

Charges are pending against the truck driver, who was a juvenile. Police said they are awaiting the results of a drug test on the driver.

Central Avenue was shut down in the area of the crash during the police investigation.
