News: Motorcycle rider dies after crashing into median in Farmington

FARMINGTON, NM – Police in Farmington are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred Sept. 29 on Wildflower Parkway.

According to the Farmington Daily Times, Delvin Began was riding a motorcycle west at the intersection of West 30th Street and Santa Barbara Drive at about 2:30 a.m. when he struck a concrete median. Began was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said he was not wearing a helmet at the time. West 30th Street was shut down between North Glade Road and Santa Barbara Drive for about five and a half hours after the crash.
