ESPANOLA, NM – A man was fatally injured when he was hit by a truck in Espanola last Tuesday, according to Rio Grande Sun.
The driver of a red GMC pickup truck was traveling near El Llano Road and Calle Culebra when the vehicle swerved over the center line and hit the victim.
The pedestrian, a 34-year-old man from Santa Fe, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver left the crash site and is currently being searched for by the police. We will be monitoring this story for more updates as the Espanola Police Department investigates.
