ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The driver of an ATV was hurt this evening after his vehicle struck a utility pole, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The man was driving on Atrisco Vista Boulevard, south of Central Avenue when his ATV struck a pole.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office reported the accident at about 4:15 p.m. today.
Medics transported the driver to a hospital for treatment. The man was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Atrisco Vista Boulevard was closed down in both directions as BSCO deputies worked the scene of the crash.
It’s unclear what caused the vehicle to crash. We will be following this story as authorities investigate the circumstances of the wreck.
