News: Man dies following accident in Albuquerque Walmart parking lot

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police say a man died after an accident involving a car at a store parking lot in Albuquerque Wednesday, according to KOAT.

Albuquerque police responded to the Walmart store on Eubank Boulevard near Copper Avenue after reports of a possible rollover crash. Responding officers determined that a car had moved forward in the lot after rolling over the parking wheel stop block.

A man was found unconscious and trapped in the car, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.

The fatality is under investigation as a medical episode, police said.
