ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A woman was injured after her vehicle was struck by another car on Friday, according to KRQE.
A man was driving a gold 2007 Hyundai car south on San Mateo Boulevard when he rear-ended a silver Toyota. A passenger of the Toyota was taken to UNMH for her injuries.
The Albuquerque Police Department reports that the Hyundai was traveling at excessive speed at the time of the accident.
The Hyundai’s driver fled the scene but was later taken into custody and charged with DWI.
