ALBUQUERQUE, NM – An accident blocked several lanes of traffic on I-40 near Bernalillo this morning, according to TTN Albuquerque.

The vehicles were traveling west on I-40 at about 8:20 a.m. when the wreck occurred near Exit 159D to University Boulevard.
It’s unclear whether anyone was injured in the accident.
Officials closed down three lanes on the right of the interstate as the crash was being investigated. Authorities cautioned motorists to avoid debris from the crash.
