News: Hit-and-run accident fatally injures Santa Fe man

ESPANOLA, NM – The Espanola Police Department is searching for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run, according to Santa Fe New Mexican.

A man stepped out of his vehicle to begin his workday at a construction site when a 1998 Ford pickup truck veered into the shoulder and struck him.

The wreck took place on El Llano Road, at about 9 a.m. on December 12th.

The man was killed at the scene of the accident. The driver of the truck fled the scene and is currently being searched for by detectives.

No further details are available at this time as the Espanola Police Department continues to investigate.
