ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Authorities shut down the highway in all lanes following an accident this morning, KRQE reports.
The crash took place on I-40 at about 11:01 a.m. today, near Atrisco Vista Boulevard. Deputies with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident at the 146-mile marker.
There have been no reports of injuries at this time. The BCSO advised motorists to be aware of traffic delays.
It’s unclear what exactly led to the wreck. We will follow this story as the BCSO investigates.
