ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Traffic was heavily delayed this morning after a crash on I-40 eastbound, according to TTN Albuquerque.

The wreck took place between Exit 157 towards 12th Street and Exit 158 towards 6th Street. Details about the cause of the crash are not known.
The right lane of I-40 was shut down as local crews worked to clear the crash site. Officials reported traffic slowdowns from the site of the crash to I-40’s bridge over Rio Grande.
