News: Fatal crash involving motorcycle reported in central Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – One person was killed today after a crash between a motorcycle and truck, KRQE reports.

A cleaning truck made a U-turn into a parking lot when it struck a motorcycle. The wreck happened at the intersection of Menaul Boulevard and Carlisle Road. Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department responded at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, in the 3200 block of Menaul Boulevard.

Emergency responders pronounced one person deceased at the site of the crash. Their identity has not yet been released.

Excessive speeds or alcohol use are not believed to be factors in the accident. We will follow this story as the APD investigates.
