ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A driver was taken into custody after police say the internationally struck a pedestrian in a Albuquerque motel parking lot this morning.
According to KRQE, the crash occurred at about 8 a.m. at the Bow and Arrow Lodge near Central Avenue and Utah Street.
Investigators believe the suspect intentionally ran over the male victim several times before attempting to flee on foot. The unidentified individual was located and taken into custody a short time later.
It is unclear what charges the driver will face. However, APD is treating the incident as a homicide at this time.
