ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A woman was killed after the car she was driving overturned on a highway near Coors, according to KOB 4.
The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the wreck at about 9 a.m. Thursday.
The woman had been ejected from her car after it flipped over. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she later passed away.
The accident happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway, near Coors. Authorities closed down the highway near Unser Boulevard.
The APD is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
