ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A woman died when the vehicle she was driving crashed on Interstate 40 eastbound in Albuquerque Monday morning, KRQE reports.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said the rollover crash happened near mile marker 145 on I-40 east near the Route 66 Casino and Hotel. The victim’s identity was not immediately released. Two juvenile passengers were taken to University of New Mexico Hospital but were not believed to be seriously injured.
The sheriff’s office shut down all lanes of eastbound I-40 near the crash scene before reopening the roadway shortly after noon.
