News: Driver charged after fatal 3-vehicle crash on Coors Blvd.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A man was taken into custody following a fatal 3-vehicle crash in Albuquerque’s West Mesa neighborhood last Thursday, according to KRQE.

Police say a driver was traveling north on Coors Boulevard when they collided with another vehicle while attempting to turn left onto Glenrio Road.

The driver of the first vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. Emergency responders took another unidentified victim to UNM Hospital for treatment.

The Albuquerque Police Department reports that the driver in the second vehicle was traveling at an excessive speed at the time of the accident. He has since been charged with vehicular homicide.
