News: Crash involving motorcycle claims the life of one

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A motorcycle collision caused the death of at least one person last night, according to KRQE.

A man riding on a motorcycle was hit by a small four-door sedan. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident at the intersection of Arenal Road and Tapia Boulevard.

The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. The sedan fled the scene and is currently being searched for by authorities.

Arenal Road was completely closed down as a result of the crash. Authorities asked motorists to take alternate routes to avoid the accident site.
