ALBUQUERQUE, NM – There were lane closures on I-40 early this morning after an accident that led to injuries, APD Traffic reports.

Authorities responded to the accident in the westbound lanes of I-40 at the exit towards San Mateo Boulevard.
The wreck took place at about 1:59 a.m. today, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.
Two right lanes of the highway were closed down, as well as the exit ramp.
There were reported injuries resulting from the accident. It’s unclear how many people were hurt and the extent of the injuries is unknown.
