RIO ARRIBA COUNTY, NM – Emergency personnel responded to the scene of an accident north of Santa Fe today, according to KOB 4.
A District 40 State Representative was transported to a hospital this morning after his car crashed and flipped.
The representative was reportedly traveling to the State Capitol when the vehicle lost control.
Nearby drivers and emergency responders assisted the occupants in the vehicle after the crash.
Officers with the Rio Arriba County Police Department report that snow was a factor in the accident.
