News: Collision involving motorcycle causes road closures

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – New Mexico 333 was reopened late last night after a vehicle crash shut the roadway down in both directions, the Bernallillo County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Authorities were called to the scene of the crash at the intersection of New Mexico 333 and Hidden Valley Road. A motorcycle and one motor vehicle had collided at around 7:55 p.m. Sunday. It’s unclear whether anyone was hurt in the wreck.

New Mexico 333 was shut down in both directions as authorities initiated their investigation. Officials advised motorists to travel using different routes to avoid the crash site. The road was reopened at about 10:50 p.m. Sunday.

The BCSO is currently looking into the circumstances of the wreck.
